Re: Swiss Cube: Project SWUBE
Thanks for your informations! Is it the "SRL Wasseranalyse Business" available on their website? It seems nice but if you want to do it 2-3x pro year it's quite expensive...100 euros? really?

Re: Swiss Cube: Project SWUBE
Yes this is the Business test but I think you only need this 1 x a year and then maybe the basic one or just use home testing. The Business ICP is good to know that there's not anything really bad going on in your water.

Re: Swiss Cube: Project SWUBE
yep, or to prevent too much elements like copper, etc... good to know...
I haven't done any tests for 2 years in my tank except kh and po4... it's maybe the time to check if my proto fauna marin (zeo + elements) is still well balanced

Yep, never too late. Although when I saw your aquarium I think everything was very happy and healthy, no test kit required !

Re: Swiss Cube: Project SWUBE
I Think it's really useful to know what's in the output of your RO/DI sytem that's the main point to me. Then comes what's in your tank...

Re: Swiss Cube: Project SWUBE
Yep good point, for me only zero TDS RODI goes in with a good salt mix (FM Pro) but this is the basic thing to start with and I think many problems start with high TDS water being used, RO membranes not changed frequently etc.....

Re: Swiss Cube: Project SWUBE
Most of the corals are now starting to have better colours as the parameters are better and more stable. Potassium is at around 410 - 420 with weekly dosing of potassium chloride, these seems to help. Also as my No3 is very low, perhaps too low I am now dosing Nitrate in the form of Sodium nitrate, about 1mg p/day.

I guess that if you need to change something in the layout you have to jump in completely, isn't it?
